ACCESSIBILITY

REGULATORY CONTEXT

The European Accessibility Act (EAA) – Directive (EU) 2019/882 – introduces common accessibility requirements for digital products and services, such as websites, mobile apps, banking and payment services. From June 28, 2025, these obligations also apply to large companies like CA Auto Bank S.p.A., and its group entities. The Group is committed to ensuring a digitally accessible experience to all users, including people with disabilities.

The EAA applies to a wide range of products and services, including:

  • websites and mobile applications;
  • digital banking and payment services;
  • e-commerce transport services and digital platforms.

In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, CA Auto Finance UK Ltd, (a wholly owned subsidiary of CA Auto Bank S.p.A) is committed to providing inclusive digital experiences. The Act requires service providers take proactive steps to make reasonable adjustments, ensuring that no user is placed at a disadvantage when accessing our products or services.

With regard to technical requirements, websites or apps are considered accessible if the following is guaranteed:

  • the usability of the content of the service by the user;
  • the usability of the information offered, characterised by:
  • ease and simplicity of use, ensuring, among other things, that the actions to be performed to obtain services and information are always uniform;
  • efficiency in use, ensuring, among other things, the separation between content, presentation and operating modes of the interfaces, as well as the possibility of making information available through different sensory channels;
  • effectiveness in use and responsiveness to user needs, ensuring, among other things, that the actions required to correctly obtain services and information are independent of the device used for access;
  • satisfaction in use, ensuring, among other things, access to the service and information without unjustified inconvenience or constraints for the user.
